Fahrenheit isn't sooo bad!
Ehh not the greatest book I've ever read, but surely not one of the worst. The topic of burning books is hard enough to write about in the first place, but then comes in the idea of a crazy society as a whole as well. Through Part 1 Ray Bradbury (the author) has probably done the past job he could have done when it comes to writing on this topic. I must admit this book has alot of similarities to Brave New World including: the idea of no books allowed in society, and how the story is centered around a man's life.

Fahrenheit is only slightly more believable as a futuristic novel then Brave New World was, they do have a lot of similarities, including the central character’s failure to be happy with the world then are living in. It’s an easier book to follow but it still hard to comprehend why an author would pick such a confusing topic to right a book on.
I agree with both of you. It is a better book than BNW, but it still has that weird twist in it (burning of books). It's difficult to understand at first, but in the end the same idea or theme will present itself in both books.
Agreed. This book is definitley more interesting than BNW, because the way it is written is much easier to understand. It is also easier to relate to Fahrenheit than BNW. However, both stories are similar in the way the government is represented, and in the main characters search for happiness.
