i'm not really tired and i'm not super energized. i'm more in a mental meltdown wiuth all that information cramed in my head most of which is forcing finals information out kinda like the inn keeper

i would really like to make more connteions and analize but i'm far to melted to do so

i wish we'd had a 24 hour lotr reading.
hah, yeah that was pretty sweet, as soon as it happened i thought about that scene from the movie then my mind went straight to beowulf. The only other connection i made to beowulf was how Bilbo stole all that treassure from the sleeping dragon the same way that beowulf planned to slay the dragon and take the treassure for his people. but im sure there are tons more since tolkien was a beowulf scholar and all.
I enjoyed myself at the 12 hour reading extravaganza. Once we got into, I realized that it was not as bad as I had made it out to be in my mind. The time flew by quicker than I had presumed and the 5 minute breaks helped a lot. All in all, I think that the event was a sucess, and I hope everyone who turned out for the event had a good time.
to tell the truth, after the12 hours i went home and kept reading. i was basicaly going crazy thinking that the best part was just aroung the corner, unfortunetly it wasn't. i stayed up for 3 more hours and kept reading. how lame is that.

I think that the 12 hour reading was excellent. I thought it was going to be much more boring than it actually was. I'm glad Megan let us use her house, her family was very nice, and the treats were delicious. The best thing about the 12 hour reading was when Mr. Lazarow was singing, i didn't think that he was actually going to be singing some of the songs in the book. The reading did start off pretty boring, but then it picked. I loved how we were all sing the songs, that was just grand.
I had a really good time at the 12 hour reading too. I had expected it to be much harder, worse and tiring than it actually was. It was REALLY CUTE that we all sang along together especially since no other class who has done the reading before sang the songs and we weren't asked too. We were like a little family awwww. We are awesome.
I didn't notice that reference to Beowulf before, but Zack's and Jon's explanations make a lot of sense. I feel like should remember all aspects of Beowulf because so many things relate to it.

Hey I thought it went pretty well but never will I read the same book for 12 hours ever agian!!! I'm dissing lotr but my brain just can't take that much punishment all at once. In the end it wasnt tht bad and it was funny to see everyone turn to Mr. Laz for the tune of the songs because of course he knew everyone. And thank you megan and your family because I dont think my parents would want like 30 people laying around my house for 12 hours.
