Man by H. Vaughan

I'm having trouble figuring out what Vaughan is saying in his poem "Man". Just wondering if anyone has any ideas to what it main idea could be..

I'm confused too... I'm having a hard time figuring out what this poem translates to. I know the Silex Scintillan poems are religious and I'm assuming 'Man' has to do with some kind of spiritual experience... but can someone go into detail?

I can't go into complete detail because parts of this are confusing to me as well, but I know that when he compares the birds to clocks, he is talking about how they have an "internal clock" that tells them when to migrate, etc. and they always know what to do at a certain time. I hope this helps somewhat.
